Yes. No card required for the trial. On day 15 you automatically return to Free — we don't charge you. If you decide to upgrade, that's when we ask for a payment method.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No commitment, no penalty. Cancel in one click from Settings and keep access until the end of the paid period.
How much discount does the annual plan have?
The annual plan saves ~16% (equivalent to 2 months free). Premium annual: $59.99/year. Family annual: $99.99/year.
Why is Wälo cheaper than YNAB or Monarch?
Lean team, modern infrastructure (Next.js + Supabase), and a pure subscription model — no data sales, no ads. We don't need to charge $15/mo to be profitable.
Do you accept LATAM payment methods?
Yes. Local cards (Visa/Mastercard), PSE in Colombia, OXXO in Mexico, Mercado Pago in Argentina, Pix in Brazil, SINPE Móvil in Costa Rica. Stripe handles processing.
What happens if I downgrade from Premium to Free?
You keep all your data. You lose access to Premium features (multi-bank, AI email parsing, multi-currency, TurboTax export). You can reactivate Premium anytime.
Are there discounts for students / NGOs?
